The 350 Hour Registration

Currently, Contemporary Yoga is registered with Yoga New Zealand for their 350-hour registration. That’s 350 hours of training with us:

200-hour training PLUS Two Modules (8 days each)

Students also need to have been studying Yoga for a minimum of one year since the beginning of their first course with us.

An example scenario would be:

200-hour training
plus Restorative Yoga
plus Somatics and Mindfulness
and the rest of the year mentoring with one of the faculty, going to class / journaling etc,

Students who have already completed a 200-hour training with us may also be registered with Yoga New Zealand - they can do so as provisional members straight away, and also as full 350-hour members when they fulfil the above criteria.

Contemporary Yoga is also currently working to have the 200-hour training fully registered with Yoga New Zealand.

Our Australian students also benefit because Yoga New Zealand is an arm of Yoga Australia, so they may apply for Yoga Australia registration.
