Yoga and meditation were useful tools for her own mental wellbeing, and she's passionate about sharing them in a beginner-friendly way.

Testimonials
“Sarah is passionate about living life ‘WELL’. Her enthusiasm for this is contagious. Sarah teaches and guides you in a caring and gentle way. She doesn't rush you and works with you at your own pace with a genuine warmth, explaining at the same time how this is helping your body. I am grateful to Sarah for sharing her vast knowledge on the body mechanics to me.

Due to Sarah's great sense of fun and joy of life, you will leave her class smiling, feeling invigorated, at peace and looking forward to your next session with her.

Thank you Sarah for inspiring me to get moving, get fit and look after my body. No looking back for me!!”
— Delwyn Mathieson

Sarah’s approach is unique in how she focuses very much on how each individual feels and what is right for them, rather than what you ‘should’ look like. I really love her warm and loving touch, she really cares a lot about her students and is super passionate about this kind of yoga.

Definitely give it a try, especially if you’re new to yoga and looking for a non-judgemental environment with an instructor who truly wants to help you!
— Rebecca Rempel

“Went to the 4th class of the Auckland series a week ago and my only regret is that I didn't go to the previous classes. Yoga is definitely not one of my strong points (as mobility is a weakness of mine) but I didn't feel out of place with Sarah. There was a real fun social element to the class and you can see that she has a real understanding of the movements and the importance of breathing. The location was second to none and I'd go there just to listen to the waves.”
— Barry O’Reilly

“Sarah guided us through a gentle yet really effective yoga practice, teaching you how to move and breathe with ease. Some challenging poses were offered but Sarah also made it totally easy for me to modify the practice to suit my ability/needs. Felt mind and muscles were chilled after the class, will be back next week.”
— Sarah Diskin

“Sarah is a fantastic instructor! Her interpretation of yoga is unique and personal, and she lets the yogis connect with their mind-body in a gentle yet genuine way. The class let me achieve what I was looking for - to slow things down and get to know myself a little better. The studio with the view of Rangitoto was pretty epic too.”
— Jason Bandara

“I found Sarah’s class so like a breath of fresh air in today’s fast-paced world and overly-advertised fancy market. Simply because she is SLOW. By being slow I mean she loves to focus on every single of her students. We did a class last Sunday, I was impressed how she approached everyone and bent down again and again, simply trying to show us individual by individual.”
— Louise Cai

“I went to one of Sarah's Auckland classes and thoroughly enjoyed it. She has a different approach to yoga which is really refreshing! You don't feel awkward or like a beginner when you're in her class either – she's warm, full of laughter and super welcoming. I loved the interactive element of the class, and how there was a theme throughout – I knew why we were moving a certain way and how it related to me. But most of all I love that Saz is Breaking the Resistance and following her passion for yoga.”
